Philippine Society of Cytopathology Website & Member Platform
The first real digital home for the Philippine Society of Cytopathology, built from zero: a public site plus the platform the society runs on, from dues and certificates to exams and licensing. They asked for a website. Style Driven built them an operating system.
What they needed
PhSC had no digital presence. Member management lived in spreadsheets, admin work was manual, and there was no central hub for resources. The society was rolling out the first national cytopathology fellowship curriculum in the Philippines with no platform to support it. They asked for a website to get off the spreadsheets. Once we were inside their workflow, it was clear they needed a whole system.

How we got there
The Philippine Society of Cytopathology had no digital home. Members lived in spreadsheets, admin work was manual, and the society was about to roll out the country's first national cytopathology fellowship curriculum.

The public site brings it together: the leadership, the publications archive, the events and the education resources.

Off the spreadsheets
Behind it, one dashboard with role-based access runs applications, member records, leadership, files and downloads. It also handles doctor licensing: PMA chapters, PRC license validity, and residency and fellowship checks, built to the Philippine Data Privacy Act.
- 03The dues
Payments that reconcile
Members pay dues by BPI Scan-to-Pay QR or GCash. The system catches duplicate references, issues receipts and sends each payment to a review queue, so the treasury team reconciles and exports from one place.

Credentials that check out
Membership and event certificates generate on their own, with PRC CPD units and member IDs issued in order. A public QR page lets anyone verify one.

A place to study
A cytopathology self-assessment engine with timed tests, question banks by category and grading on the server. A free taster quiz on the public site helps recruit future fellows.
What it did
Member records, dues, credentials and exams now run in one system instead of spreadsheets. PhSC is onboarding new members and building partnerships with other medical bodies that the platform makes possible. The relationship is ongoing, with new features rolling out as the society grows.
