The Brief
Shell Pennzoil's metrics showed still images with strong design were outperforming video on social. Their previous photography team's attention to detail wasn't cutting it. SD was tapped to bring a higher standard to pair with the video production already in motion.
Commercial photography for Shell Pennzoil ad creative, produced on set alongside TA Films. SD was brought in specifically to raise the quality of the stills component on a video-heavy production. Two distinct sets, agency-level attention to detail, and assets built for a full 360 campaign.
Results
All files delivered via hard drive on set with follow-ups via FTP. Full impact will be measured across the 2026 NASCAR season. The client loved the experience and called the process both fun and productive.
